Afterimage was born from watching my friend struggle to get a decent website for his business.
Websites were expensive, they looked terrible, changes took weeks, and customer service was slow and frustrating. On top of that, he was stuck paying ongoing hosting, maintenance and other fees just to keep the site running.
I was studying coding at university and working as a visual artist, so I thought: why can't I just do this better?
